Baseball

Representation for professional baseball players.

IKON Sports represents Major League and Minor League players. The work is shaped by where a player is today and the decisions that are coming next.

From the first season in the Minor Leagues to the Major League level, the business side of the game follows a player at every step.

Career stages

Different levels, different priorities.

A Minor League player and an established Major League player face different questions. Representation should reflect that.

Minor League

Building toward the next level

For players in the Minor Leagues, the focus is on understanding the path ahead: how the organization views development, what milestones matter, and how to handle the business side without losing focus on performance. Communication is regular and practical.

  • · Guidance on the business side of a developing career
  • · A clear point of contact for questions as they come up
  • · Early attention to brand and off-field opportunities that fit

Major League

Decisions with long-term weight

At the Major League level, contracts, timing, and commercial opportunities carry more consequence. Representation means preparation before negotiations, honest assessment of options, and planning that looks beyond the current season.

  • · Preparation and communication around contract matters
  • · Evaluation of endorsement and commercial opportunities
  • · Planning that considers life after the next contract

Approach

Business-minded, player-first.

Rudy Hernandez brings a background in real estate and business development to athlete representation. In practice that means evaluating opportunities carefully, building productive relationships, and keeping a player informed so the decisions are his.

Every player's circumstances are different. The scope of support is discussed and defined plainly at the start, so there are no assumptions about what representation includes.

Getting in touch

How a baseball inquiry works.

  1. Send a short inquiry

Share your current level, your organization if applicable, and what you want to discuss. No documents are needed at this stage.
  2. Initial conversation

Rudy follows up to talk through your situation and your questions about representation.
  3. Define the fit

If both sides want to proceed, the scope of representation and any agreement are discussed directly and in writing. A website inquiry alone does not create a representation relationship.

Talk about your baseball career.

Tell us briefly about your situation. An inquiry starts a conversation; it does not create a representation or client relationship.
